I can't express my complete disappointment in everyone that didn't bother attending the event.
Guys, whats going on?
I worked hard on getting a sacrifice for us and researching some things to make sure the RP went well, to log on and waste an hour or so waiting for those that said they would turn up, and didn't. The only event that has been organised in around two months.
Is this what the house is about? Should I even bother trying to get everyone involved again and RP going?
It doesn't seem it. I predict no one will really answer this either, which is a sad shame.
For your information, those who attended were me, Ashio and Alzar, not enough to start an event therefore telling the player who was our sacrifice he had logged on for no reason.
Also, I wouldn't mind having some powers on this forum either, in all the time I'm meant to be 'leading' I can't even edit the ranks on here.

| I personally apologize for my inactiveness. I would love another chance to Rp an event or whatnot. With the lack of events and activity in the house, I have not been so apt to play for quite some time. I would sincerely like to change that, both for myself and the house. I have logged in sporatically, and have never seen another Dev'Lin on. Let me know if there is anything I can do or help with. It would be nice to see the house regain some of it's former glory. |

 well I am on almost every night 7pm - about 1 or 2am(CST time) and most of the day and evening on the weekends
Qil. does plan on still doing this and we have some idea's in the making. One of the idea's I need to leave a post on the TFR boards for dm assist. Just havn't done it yet As soon as I get in touch with one will be leaving an update post here and in Szith boards.

When I frist started Dev'Lin, Qil, most of the player base was australian. This was for 2 major reasons, 1, made time keeping for events easy, 2, there were only female dominated Lolthian Houses in Szith.
Dev'Lin was created with a Selvetarmian base, primarily males who were sick to death of the typical drow female bitchiness.In fact, for the first 8 months (real time) there was only 1 female in the entire House!
Events in Szith were rare, but we always had a strong showing. I am wondering if the lack of participation is somehow linked to the fall of the Male domination within the House.
I have watched, with sometimes amusement and sometimes dissapointment, as the base that I created over 12 months slowly got eroded, and more female characters entered Dev'Lin. Hopefully I'll catch you online soon and we can have a chat.

| I think blaming it on more female members might be a bit much, you need females to make the Drow society work and function like it should. I will agree that the attitudes and the "bitchiness" of the females can be a bit much, but all of us who play a drow character know how the society works. It is the way it is. |

To be honest... I don't know what to say to that.
If it is linked down to now being female run, what can I do? I don't intend on making a male char (seen as im female myself, i wouldnt know how to rp male) and I'm happy with my drows RP as it is..
Okay, so it isn't the house you founded and made a player base to, but its evolved and changed as time has gone on, I've not been the leader for long.. I guess the males that don't want to be part of the more, llothian dev'lin can well, declare themselves out - or just try and sabotage it from within like any other drow would, but then, you know what happens if your caught...
Seriously, if thats the reason... then I guess Dev'Lin is dead unless I give it up.
Personally, I think that the lack of participation is down to the inactivity of szith (its not just dev'lin that is sleepy) and lack of RP/events and such to lure us on. A lot of people have lost interest.

| There is always low points and high points. Participation will go back up, it always does. Holidays are over, it is cold outside(atleast here in the states), people are going to be looking for more stuff to do indoors. Just got to ride out the slow parts. |
