The Dark Robed figure returned to szith and breathed in the damp, smelly air deeply. She had been away a long time, battling the armies of the elven fortresses on the mainland....all the time she had missed her home.. Szith!
The last time she had seen Szith was many years ago, she had left her brother Jahn and Kal'lazar, and they had all ventured to the mainland to heed the call of their paternal mother, Viera. Her methods to have her children return to fight for the homeland were crude, but effective... She played off the siblings against each other, and it had worked...for a time.
Ashian'darra commanded many armies in her time back under her mothers wing, driving deep attacks into elven and rivvill territories in retaliation for their subversive plots against the drow. Now it was time for her to return to Szith, and take her place as Illharess of her glorious house once again.
As she made contact with members of her kin, she learnt that Thrar had been doing much work. His servitude to the Illharess was exemplary and Ashian'darra noticed this straight away.
Ashian returned to her Quellar....she was surprised to see the beds and room of the priestess Qilintha undisturbed for much a time. She furrowed her brow and worried at Qilintha's outcome...but determination rose within her...typical of Ashian's fight. She would hold the fort untill the Illharess returned...or lead the house as she saw fit...
Ashin met with her head faern Thrar and discussed the events. She discussed his opinions as she had always done in her brothers presence...Jahn had always provided good advice and Ashi's brow furrowed again as she thought of her long lost brothers...
Will they ever come back....if not...it would be up to the new brethren to make the house strong! as it once was..
Her presence would reinvigorate the fight...the power...the love for brother and sister...and the unique code that is Dev'Lin!
Ashian bowed her head and summoned strength....immediately her and Thrar left her meeting room and began the initiation of a new member "kalafein"
It seemed...with this ceremony...the house was alive once again...the blood spilled from the inductee on the floor, but it invigorated the house...a sense of certainty was again within the walls of Quellar Dev'Lin.
Illharess Ashian'darra had returned....

The dark figure stood at her Quellar's alter....In front of her stood her new Yathrin.
The matron had realised the power within the one called Isandra, and had sought her out. With the induction ritual now complete, the Illharess and Yathrin Isandra headed to Szith. They met with the Ulalthtallar and discussed their plans to quell the recent war with Mori'hyanda and to get back to their core business of providing slaves for the Szith. The Ulathtaller seemed impressed, and Ashian and Isandra immediately headed to the outskirts of the UD in search of Rivvil!
The Illharess had also a great many other plans on her mind...
The unification of her Quellar...She left a scrawled message on the noticeboard leading into Quellar Dev'lin.. It read:
"To all of the glorious Quellar Dev'lin, The Illharess must discuss certain...plans....with each and every one of you... Make yourself known ....(message trails off)
Signed - Ashi"
The Illharess was pleased, but knew she still had much work to do...She disappeared into the hidden cave system at the back of Quellar Dev'lin. It was anyones guess where she was headed...all anyone knew was that she seemed to have an evil glint permanently in her eyes these days...
