I was thinking about character builds today and decided to start a post dedicated to the development of character builds. Perhaps we could start developing organizations within the House where everyone plays one particular type of build. Of course before that build is chosen we must break down the strengths and weaknesses of each of them. I'm going to give some examples of builds that I have develop recently that I think would be fun to play.
Bladesinger: W10/F2/EK10/AS8
Shadowmage: R1/W17/EK10/SD2
Deathlancer: F12/WM7/BG3/A8
These are builds that I am currently using in characters; Solaufein, Te'fein and Zhayemd respectively. When I get more time I will be posting exact details of the builds much like the builds that can be found on NWN2 Wikia. If you have any ideas on builds of your own please share them with us and if you have any ideas on how to improve a build that has already been posted please contribute your advice.

Nice thread Sol!
I really like this build (its what I had in mind for Mordakar, if I ever got him finished).
WAR26/BG3/SD1.
I'm assuming the reange level on Shadow mage is to get the skills you need for SD?
I think that improved quicken is a really good feaure of the ASOC class, so maybe the Bladesinger would work as:
W8/F2/EK10/AS10 ?
Or did you have the 10 W levels to get an extra feat?
Maybe as a SORC too? That just personal preferance and I LOVE SORCs! |

Neph is going to be 16 fs/3 bg/10 rdd/1 bard but i m also thinking of changing it to 18 fs/1 cleric/10 rdd/1 bard the difference from the power build is she is duel wielder and will have perfect 2 weapon
for mages i think mages should be casters not sword users so i think asoc is a must for mages and maybe ek for melee damage

| Hmmm i like the idea of only taking the 1 cleric lvl, only thing id suggest is take bard first, for increased reflex saves, then when u take the cleric lvl take a domain which will grant you Evasion Feat. |
