Below is a link to download SAFE to use override files that will reduce the "Buff-Ball" visual effects. These overrides work only on the client side (your computer) and do not effect the server in any way. They will not crash the server.
How to use?
First - download them from the below link

Second - unzip the files
Third - place the files into c:\MyDocuments\Neverwinter Nights 2\override
And that's it.
(these files are based off of the files that can be found on NWVault with a couple of additions & adjustments)

just in case it's a 'real' question, "buff-Ball" refers the the constant swirling lights and effects that cover characters while they are 'buffed up' with magical protections/enhancements. Often, these visual effects make it impossible to distinguish one character from another.
