Yeah... Sol, I was thinking the same thing.
I've not actually seen you in two weeks now and the RP in house Dev'lin is getting... well... elusive all together. I know there's always commitments elsewhere (which are more important as this is only a game) but perhaps you can let us know when you'll be gone for long periods of time so that we can discuss running some events of our own to keep the house alive. And of course, we do miss you.
I'm speaking of all the house members here too when I say this, we need to pull our socks up a bit when it comes to RP/events, get your creative ideas flowing and if you can, contribute! We're all part of this house and we need not rely on Sol to inspire RP.

 ran into Sol in the middle of the day about a week to a week and a half ago And I have been on and trying to get some RP though I really havn't run into / or been able to start much. Well much more than just some personal RP that is.

| I talked with Sol yesterday. He seems well. He hasn't been around a bunch but for undisclosed reasons, but I am sure whatever it is, it is valid. All i know is, that its not just Sol's absence that i have noticed, but absence of Drow in Szith in particular. I may have run into about 5 of them when I started a new character about 1 week ago. That is pretty sad. Not to mention a big turn off to playing a drow. Gah, I spent 5 hours in those damn bat caves and managed to gain 1 1/2 lvls. Couple that with all of the dying I did and you have the makings of a very painful evening to say the least. |

My apologies for appearing to fall off the map. There wasn't any particular reason for it, feeling a little uninspired or frustrated with my inability to truly affect the world and Szith in specific quite as profoundly as I would like. I am used to having total control of the world in my Pen and Paper game.
I cannot say that I will be around any more often than once or so a week until the server goes to Zehir... when that happens I don't believe that I will be able to join you at all. I don't forsee myself buying the game due to the poor reviews and again, lack of interest. Things could change of course, as they often do. Perhaps I will some new reason to spend endless hours with some good friends that I have made.

Unfortunate news mate!  You will definately be missed if you choose not to return. You really got the house going strong after Tahl started to lose interest (which ironicly is happneing to you now...) but I guess that's the way it goes.
Hope all goes well for you whatever you decide to do. But I imagine it will be difficult for the house to have such a commited ooc (and IC? I am sooo out of the loop  ) leader.

Yeah... I really hope you come back. You know I've not been part of drow society, and house Dev'lin long but it seems Szith is getting a little quiet. Problem we're left with is our leader not being around, and if you don't return, what do we do?
The house needs to be guided in one way or another and though there isn't MUCH RP going on at the moment, that guidance inspires RP and encourages people to log onto their drow. At the minute I'm literally wandering around Szith, not seeing any RP, grinding, going to Q'os, having confrontations and trying to inspire RP myself.
I guess another point of mine is that, as I said, I'm still pretty new (for a drow) and it seems the other houses are the ones that are guiding me now (vilm, nandra, pau)- It shouldn't be that way.
This is just my general opinion and not aimed directly at you Sol, as I said, it's a personal thing and a game isn't important in comparison to RL issues or feelings.
However, how about you make a post, set it up, 2 meetings, 1 house meeting discussing command, rank, orders/jobs and a second meeting, a sacrifice to Lloth (all members to be involved if possible) with blooding rituals for those that didn't have them.. Just an idea.. Give something for people to log on for? We haven't been able to really get together for a while now but if we have a date for just the first meeting, we can discuss the next with everyone that attends... How about it?
And, I really do hope you don't leave us, I really enjoy the RP with you, and I think you're a cool friend ooc too.

Seeing how it's going on TFR, and even if I havent been on this server for a long time, I feel myself a bit unispired as well.
I dunno what poor review you had from SoZ but I really loved the expansion Sol. Tho Hari the owner of TFR hasnt updated the website for quite some time and I do not see any real project of development from him regarding TFR.
Right now I'm playing on Baldur's Gate the sword of the coast server and feel like they are making a really nice work. the world is somewhat small atm but the quality of each areas they have made are impressive and they are adding finished content every weeks. They got a pretty good server with a good connection. The DM activity is quiet high, in the last week I have done over 10 DM events from small to large epic battle. If you feel bored Sol come on Baldur. They havent updated to SoZ yet and no plan until 2-3 months on it anyway. They will be adding the Underdark soon and you should see the screenshots of it.. it's really pretty.
All in all I might or might not return to TFR will depend if Hari make any update on his server.. I really felt like Szith was nice but seeing those roots floating (not attached to the roof of cave kinda shown me how fast he did the art) and it has nothing to compare with Baldur server.
