Hey guys, been a long time i lost the game ,but im going to buy it again. I played World of warcraft and it may be a better game.. but im a true drow fan and can't wait to start roleplaying once again. I hope to play aluandichara again so keep an eye out for me.

Well still haven't got the game. Hard to fork over fifty bucks, plus the expansion(s), for a game I already had. Right now im playing the tabletop version with a CE party with 2 of my friends. The DM of the campaign were on awards xp way to easy! lol my character is overpowerd as hell...hes 7wizard/2fatespinner/1rouge/1 ring sage.
Anyway hope the house is still strong like it was when i left. I plan on being online and updated within the next 1-2weeks. Later people

Quote:
Welcome back and how can ya say WoW is a better game???? lol

World of Warcraft
PROS
-Huge player base like 11 million.
-When you hit lvl70 theres still a ton to do
-NO CRASHS!I really hated how TFR crashed alot.
-Always a quest avaliable
-Unchecked PVP Wink I learned quick not to show mercy and let someone lower level go.
-Mounts and a Huge player world.
-PVP arenas and battlefields

CONS
-Huge player base (Some of the people u meet..my god.)
-Alot of immature players (You don't want to hear two 11-14yr olds talk about some stat for 2hours)
-People aren't helpful most of the time. Im an experienced gamer. So I learn games farily quickly but, the people on there don't give you any slack. (Thats why you use the internet and figure everything out yourself.)
-The roleplay is probably horrible, i didnt even bother checking it out.
-Confusing level and city designs at times.
-Honestly it got boring. It dosen't have the rich history of dnd and FR.
-Somewhat unbalanced gameplay (playing a healer sucks, paladins and DK are overpowerd etc.)
-Wow has a horrible reputation (lol the reason im writing this)
-ITS NOT DND.
-ITS NOT Forgotten Relams.
-NO DROW.

NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2 (TFR SERVER)

PROS
-DROW ROLEPLAY~DND ROLEPLAY
-Quellar Dev'lin
-Graphics are less cartoony
-Theres a DM to interact with (well not usually for drow)
-The bond between you and your character is more involved mentally. (because of roleplay)
-The soundtrack is awesommmee!!!
-DND is balanced imo (as long as your not RDD) Wink

CONS
-daily sever crashing
-grinding gnolls, trolls, and umberhulks for an ungodly amount of time
-limited areas to travel
-limited players
-The same dang PC voices from nwn 1
-Glitchy sometimes

In the end there just two diffrent games. TFR is for hardcore dnd fans. WoW is for anyone.

Hmmmm besides the obvios reasons you listed and the fact I've played DnD for probaly 18 years or so now, I always liked NwN better because it seemed you were able to customize your characters more. Get alittle more into detail than in WoW. Course my older sister is a WoW addict lol, I just can't talk her out of it.

Well my computers messed up right now and I don't own nwn 2 anymore (disc MIA)but I still think about it sometimes! aha! For the record WoW is a good game but it got old quick for me. Just no history like with dnd. Man every time I think of my character on here I renember all the items I had lol! Thanks sol! Anyway if this games around still in uh..a year..perhaps I shall return! If not maybe we shall meet again in NWN 3 or something...wait that would mean 4th ed?? lammmmeee

cracked copies of the game are part of the server crashing issue. If you are using one, stop, and get a real copy.
